At SurroStork, we aim to shoulder some of the burden agencies face in finding, recruiting and pre-screening surrogacy candidates, helping agencies significantly reduce IP waitlists by providing fully pre-screened, educated and ready-for-match candidates, which in turn frees up more of the agency's time to focus on providing the best care for their intended parents and surrogates.

What We Do

SurroStork sources, recruits and educates potential surrogate candidates, and assists them through the entire pre-screening process, ensuring that when they come to your agency, they are fully ready-for-match with all checklist items complete, a solid knowledge of what to expect during the entire surrogacy process, and are mentally and physically prepared to embark upon this amazing journey! When a candidate comes to your agency, they will be handed over with all items necessary to be approved by a fertility clinic for matching and their in-person medical screening.

What We Provide

Upon transferring a candidate to your agency, we provide the following items:

GC's COMPLETED QUESTIONNAIRE/PROFILE, including photos.
COMPLETE MEDICAL RECORDS, where possible (there may be occasions where a candidate had a pregnancy 8+ years ago and records have been purged. If this is the case, we will provide a purge notice/notice of no records available whenever possible).
MEDICAL RECORD SUMMARY - which can be provided to the fertility clinic, or used to complete their GC prescreening form.
OB CLEARANCE - confirmation from their doctor that they are healthy to carry another pregnancy.
CURRENT NORMAL PAP SMEAR PATHOLOGY REPORT - within 24 months, or if abnormal, a normal colposcopy report will be provided.
VIRTUAL HOME VISIT REPORT - we will conduct a virtual home visit on Zoom or FaceTime, and a written report will be provided to the matching agency.
PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATION - for GC and partner, if applicable.
CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECKS - for all adults residing in the home.

**Any invoices for psychological evaluations, background checks etc. will also be provided to the matching agency, and these can be submitted to IP escrow accounts for reimbursement to the matching agency, to offset a portion of SurroStork's service fee. Payment to psych/BGC providers will be made directly by SurroStork as part of our service.
