Surrogate Recruitment, Preparation & Screening

All of our surrogates will undergo an initial application interview process, which includes education about the surrogacy process, given both during the initial meetings, and in literature form for the candidate to refer back to at any time. We collect her full pregnancy medical records, review, and provide a medical record summary to be used by the agency/clinic to facilitate an easier review process. Criminal background checks are completed on all adults in the home. Each surrogate candidate will need to have OB clearance signed by their provider, as well as a normal pap smear pathology report within the last 2 years (or abnormal with normal colposcopy report within 1 year). Each surrogacy candidate will complete a virtual home visit by Zoom or FaceTime with one of our team members, and a report will be sent to her matching agency. Each surrogacy candidate will be required to pass a psychological evaluation, and the report will be provided to the agency. Finally, once all of the above steps are completed and she is approved for matching, we will complete a Match Preparation Call to ensure the candidate knows what to expect when being handed over to her new agency, what to expect and best practices to follow during a match meeting, and what to expect beyond a successful match.
